Richfords Restoration Racers were first timers at last year's event and surprised everyone (including themselves!) when we made it to the semi finals. Since then we have been plotting our strategy and aim to leave the other teams far behind! The rain at last year's event didn't put off our teams who are used to dealing with flooded properties. If we can work wonders on flood and fire damaged buildings imagine what we can do at this year's race!

The Samurai team is composed of a mix of students from Camborne Science and Community College and their visitors from Ritsumeikan Junior High School in Kyoto, Japan.

Stralfors, which is owned by Posten AB of Sweden, is an IT focussed business to business company with a print heritage providing total solutions within the field of information transfer. Stralfors develops, produces and delivers systems, services and products for the efficient communication of information crucial to operating a successful business.

Pendennis Paddlers are a mixture of trades and Staff. Most of the team have entered the event many times so we are looking for a win.

Our team is made up of staff from 5 Degrees West, the best place in town to enjoy casual dining in a relaxed atmosphere. Why not try our legendry burger after a hard day on the water? Serving food all day till 10pm. Also staff from 5 Degrees Below - simply the only place to be until 3am! Great atmosphere & great music. Regular live entertainment and Jaeger Bombs are our house speciality!!

The Wasters is a local team made up from a group of Tony's mates who intend to have a little fun and intend to show the others how it should be done.

St Michael's Hotel & Spa are proud to be part of this year's race. The hotel has always made the most of its seaside location with uniquely designed interiors reflecting the very best of Cornwall. Now's the perfect time for staff to enjoy the Cornish location also and embrace the mild sea!! The team have been training hard in St Michael's Health Club with the added benefit of our in-house Personal Trainers and we're sure that the day after the race they'll be begging the Spa Therapists for a smoothing massage also! We are a team of locals and staff from the Watermans Pub. We may not have been very successful last year but have been in serious training this year. Not. One thing for sure. The future is Orange.

The Sainsbury's Team returns this year following

The Chainlocker Dragons Team is a mix of staff and locals from the Chainlocker & Shipwrights Pub on Custom House Quay. Regular training sessions have been going on throughout the winter at the Bar!

The West Briton dragons and employees, friends and family of The West Briton. A local weekly newspaper published every Thursday. It was established in 1810 and is celebrating it's 200th Anniversary this July. It is part of the Cornwall & Devon Media group of companies. It is based in Truro.

The Gylly beach crew returns this year determined to take the infamous title. Preparation for this years race has included runs up and down the gylly beach café veranda, lifting hundreds of boxes of coffee and bench pressing barrels of beer. This years crew will be taking no prisoners this year. The only memory other teams will have of us is the back of our oars!
